Ashlynn King

is a North Carolina Entrepreneur, Higher Education Professional, Event Curator and Photographer based in Winston-Salem. Born and raised in Anson County, she has always had a love for the Arts. She attended North Carolina Central University where she studied Music, with a concentration in Vocal Performance. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Mass Communication with a minor in Music. She holds a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.

Ashlynn is a former AmeriCorps VISTA and has over eight years of experience in Higher Education. She has worked for several insitutions including Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, Guilford Technical Community College, Wake Forest University, and Salem College. Her work with student groups, college communities and the local community has aided her in creating inclusive spaces that help others to navigate within their purpose.

She currently serves as the Board President for the Child Care Resource Center and volunteers with various groups within the local Winston-Salem community. Ashlynn is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Through Ashlynn’s professional experience, she learned she also had a niche for branding. Her ability to help others communicate their vision and seamlessly polish brands has aided her in building long lasting client relationships. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of both Ashlynn Nicole Photography and CoStar Media.

As a wife and Mother of 4, Ashlynn enjoys spending quality time with her family, singing at open mic events, and traveling.
